Plantation Black Cask Double Aged
The great Caribbean rum Plantation Black Cask Double Aged is the result of a unique double aging process that gives the rum its great complexity, sophistication and lightly roasted tones.
It is made from first-class molasses, which was hand-picked in Barbados and Peru. It was then transferred to a distillery where it was fermented for 3-4 days. Distillation was performed using Pot Still and Column Still.
The rum matured for about 1 to 3 years in 200-liter ex-bourbon white oak barrels. He was then transported to the southwest of France, where he matured for 1 year in small burnt oak Ferrand barrels.
