Plantation Single Vintage Panama 2010
Plantation Single Vintage Panama 2010 is a new limited edition Terravera rum that aims to showcase the very essence of rum's origin - terroir. A total of 6 different rums are planned. This time it is a rum from Panama, distilled in 2010. Master Blender and creator of Plantation rums Alexandre Gabriel has chosen the Don José Distillery for this piece.
According to the information received, only 22 barrels were produced, so this is truly a limited edition. The rum is made from molasses which is fermented for 2 days, then distilled in a continuous still - column still. Tropical aging in Panama takes place in ex-bourbon barrels for 8 years. The rum is then transported to Europe, followed by continental ageing in France, for up to 5 years in ex-cognac Ferrand casks, which is characteristic of the Plantation brand.
The rum is neither colored nor sweetened and is finally bottled at 51,4 % alcohol. The bottles are again presented in elaborate gift boxes depicting the beautiful and colorful jungle of Panama. This piece will really stand out on any collector's shelf.
We recommend serving the rum at room temperature and it should be allowed to rest in the glass for 20-30 minutes before tasting to fully develop all its aromas and flavours.
