The exclusive Cihuatan Le Suerte is a limited edition rum that has been filtered through quartz and aged for 15 years in virgin American white oak barrels. A special edition rum inspired by the tales of Muwaan Mat, the Mayan god of good fortune. The Mayans believed that this god shared the gift of good fortune through crystals because, according to them, when shooting stars hit the earth, they transformed into just quartz. To make use of it, they filtered water with quartz in a sacred ritual and then enjoyed drinks at magical feasts.
Following this ancient practice, Cihuatan's Master Blender Gabriela Ayala filters rums from a private collection using quartz to create Cihuatan Suerte, a rum that honours luck and prosperity. Aged in virgin barrels, this rum features notes of salted caramel, artisanal sesame candy, candied figs, espresso, butterscotch and cinnamon.
The rum was bottled at 44,2 % alcohol and comes in a beautiful gift tube. Once again, Cihuatan has gone to great lengths to create a colourful and unique visual.

We have a special limited edition Salvadoran 18-year-old Cihuatán Dualidad rum, made especially for the Svet nápojov! This is a Single Barrel rum which means that there is only one single barrel, of which only 283 were made!
The Folklore Edition is series unique barrels that have been filled for companies from different parts of the world. The Folklore Collection focuses on the Mayan Gods and commemorates the unique journey of the distillery, led by Master Blender Gabriela Ayala. This year's edition is the second vintage.
This rum has been aged for 18 long years. First in an American ex-bourbon white oak barrel and then finally matured for 2 years finishing in ex-Sherry Oloroso American barrels, giving it a very pleasant and subtly sweet flavor profile. It comes in a gift tube with a beautiful design by artist Valeria Crcios.
