Nikka Whisky From The Barrel
Japanese Nikka Whisky From The Barrel is a blended whisky that was launched in 1985. The development of this expression began with the aim of delivering the full flavor and richness of whisky as if it were "from the barrel," which can only be experienced by the blenders. The secret to its wonderful taste lies in the unique combination of complex blending and a higher alcohol content of ABV 51.4 %.
The iconic square bottle reflects its concept of a "small block of whisky" and embodies the intense and rich flavor of the whisky inside. Long after its launch, this bottle remains timeless and is recognized for its maximum simplicity.
The whisky matured in ex-bourbon casks and is made from grains and malt from the Miyagikyo distillery and malt from the Yoichi distillery.
The aroma of the whisky is fruity and spicy, combined with floral notes that fill the room. The scent is complemented by woody and peaty nuances. The taste is subdued with sweet, slightly oily tones that are combined with flavors of oak and spices. In the finish, we can feel honey and vanilla, which adds a sweet touch at the end.
We recommend serving at room temperature or with a cube of ice, or in long drinks. The bottle volume is 0.5 l.
