Rudolf Jelínek Apricot Liqueur
Rudolf Jelínek Apricot Brandy is a clear distillate characterized by a sweet aroma of apricots with a light undertone of pits and a delicate fruity taste, making it a favorite among ladies as well. The tradition of distilling in Vizovice dates back to the 16th century. Plums and the plum brandy made from them were dominant, but as early as the 19th century, several distilleries in Vizovice also engaged in the production of apricot brandy, as apricots have thrived in South Moravia since time immemorial.
The company Rudolf Jelínek thus continues long-standing traditions and production methods, which, along with the most modern technologies, guarantee the highest quality.
Apricot brandy is produced through triple distillation of matured apricot mash, in which the pits are present throughout the aging process, imparting the distillate with a characteristic tannin flavor. The entire production process is completed with at least one year of aging, during which the aroma and taste of the distillate are unified.
We recommend serving it at room temperature, as this is the only way to fully appreciate its qualities and the development of flavors. The bottle has a volume of 0.7 l and is shaped like an alarm clock.
