The GlenAllachie 16 Year Old Billy Walker 50th Anniversary Present Edition
To celebrate the 50th anniversary of Master Distiller Billy Walker, The GlenAllachie distillery has recreated this sublime Speyside single malt Scotch whisky. It is an exclusive limited edition from The Past, Present and Future collection.
Aged for an exceptionally long 16 years in ex-sherry Oloroso and Pedro Ximenéz. After maturing, it was filled in Mizunara barrels made of very rare Japanese oak, which gave it a pleasant spiciness. It is created without cold filtration and added dyes.
The whisky comes in a beautiful black and gold gift box with an unusual front opening! We recommend serving neat and at room temperature. Only 2,900 bottles were produced!
Color: mahogany with dark brown highlights
Aroma: chocolate, honey, almonds, wood, ginger, orange
Taste: honey, cinnamon, ginger, dried fruit, nuts, figs
Finish: medium long, complex, slightly spicy, vanilla
