Clairin Vaval Rum 2020

Clairin Vaval 2020 is a Haitian rum made from cane juice. Distilled by hand in the village of Cavaillon at the Arawaks Distillery.

It is a rum called mono-varietal, which is made from Madame Meuze sugar cane. Fermentation is spontaneous, which means that the yeast is natural. Fermented cane juice is distilled by Fritz Vaval in a unique home distillery using a Column Still.

The result is a strong and flavorful French-style rum with a high 53.3 % alcohol content without modification. The rum comes in a designer gift box on which you can see cartoon characters.

Color: clear with subtle golden highlights
Aroma: vanilla, fruit, herbs, flowers, olives
Taste: saffron, chocolate, lilies of the valley, wood, grass
Finish: long, expressive, pepper, paprika, sugar cane
