Bundle Admiral Rodney HMS Royal Oak Rum + Carúpano Reserva Limitada 18
Admiral Rodney HMS Royal Oak is a Caribbean molasses rum from the island of St. Lucia. It was named after the Royal Oak, which was part of the fleet of the British Admiral, Sir George Brydges Rodney, in the struggle for dominance in Caribbean territory.
The exceptional taste of this rum is due to the Coffey still distillation and subsequent extraction of the distillate from the lower parts of the plant to obtain a balanced taste suitable for long maturation leading to the development of a distinct and complex taste profile. This is followed by only aging in American oak barrels after bourbon and professional mixing of rums at the age of 7-12 years .
Aroma: maple syrup, prunes, oak wood, coffee, bananas, apricots and vanilla
Taste: dry, slightly smoky balanced with caramel, undertones of brown sugar and molasses, mild spice of cinnamon
Conclusion : creme brulee, caramel and slightly smoky oak wood
Venezuelan ultra-premium dark Blended rum Carúpano Reserva Limitada 18 is made from a mixture of rums that have matured on average for up to 18 years. The mixture is filled into white American oak barrels where it matures for several weeks. It is bottled with 40 % alcohol content. The bottle has a matte white texture and is housed in a very nice gift box with a blue-silver design.
