Ardbeg 10 Year Old

Ardbeg 10 Year Old is a whisky whose colour is reminiscent of a fine sherry. There is smoke, saltiness and iodine dryness in the taste , but at the same time a slight sweetness. The finish is heavier, reverberating iodine.

Ardbeg 10 is regarded worldwide as the most peaty, curvaceous and complex single malt whisky of them all. Yet it doesn't flaunt the peat, rather it gives way to the natural sweetness of the malt to create a perfectly balanced whisky.

A burst of intense smoky fruit escapes into a peat-infused atmosphere of tangy lemon and lime, wrapped in waxy dark chocolate. Bold menthol and black pepper cut through the sweet smoke, followed by tar ropes and graphite. Enjoy aromas of smoked fish and crispy bacon along with green pepper, roasted pineapple and pear juice.

Add water and the ocean minerality brings a whiff of cool, salty seawater. Wax, lemon and lime follow with coal tar soap, beeswax and herbal pine needles. Toasted vanilla and cinnamon simmer with warm hazelnut and almond caramel.

Unfiltered by refrigeration. Bottled at 46 % alcohol with a 0,7l capacity. They are supplied in gift cartons.
